There are 3 types of false allegations you may encounter.
1) He said, she said false allegation
This is the most common type of false allegation.
An example is as follows " My husband slapped me across my face in the living room on 1st July". The husband denies the allegation but as there was no one there to independently verify if this allegation is true or false it's one person's word against another.
2) False/Grossly exaggerated false allegation
This type of allegation is very common and part of the allegation maybe true but parts of it are false and grossly exaggerated.
An example is as follows " My husband and I were arguing. As he left the room he brushed past me and I felt scared".
What is true is that the husband and wife were arguing but the later part of the allegation is false and grossly exaggerated.
3) Provably false allegation
This type of allegation is where an allegation has been made but it can be proved to be false.
An example is as follows: "My husband was stalking me and following me in his car down High Wycombe, High Street on the 1st July". In this example the husband can categorically prove he was no where near High Wycombe as he was in Scotland that day. This is a provably false allegation.
